Amy Spagnola

Amy Spagnola, a self-appointed "style scribe," is a Denver-based freelance writer who has been authoring self-help, lifestyle and pop psychology articles for over a decade; she specializes in crafting digital content for fashion, beauty and interior design brands.

Amy's professional qualifications include over six years with Denver Life Magazine as a Senior Writer, Reporter and Fashion Editor. During her time as editor and stylist, she made local fashion contacts, selected and styled models, gathered garments and accessories as well as brainstormed and assisted with layout and concept for the “Threads” column; she wrote countless feature articles for Denver Life Magazine on topics ranging from frozen yogurt to online dating to landscaping and real estate. Amy also acted as a researcher and reporter for Denver Life Home and Design and Denver Life Weddings

Previous to her role as a Senior Writer, Amy worked as a Copywriter for the national retailer the Buckle (which has over 400 stores in 41 states) for two years (2007 to 2009) and participated in the creation of the Style Shop; this feature allowed consumers to visually view a complete outfit by theme or trend. During this process, she conceived ensembles, created taglines, headlines, scripts (including a prize package to meet band 3 Doors Down), sweepstakes materials, website content, in-store promotions, holiday campaigns and cart abandonment copy. She was the “go-to” for clever and catchy fashion copy for this multimillion-dollar retailer.

Today, she enjoys creating content for fashion and design brands as well as crafting stories and articles on celebrity personalities. She has become a passionate royal observer and writes relationship, beauty and style content related to the Windsor family--including authoring pieces on Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Duchess Kate Middleton.

Amy has a Master's degree in journalism and a Bachelor's degree in psychology. She resides in beautiful mile-high Colorado with her husband and their Havanese puppy.
