He's Just Not That Into You: The Case of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Disclaimer: This blog is for entertainment purposes only. If you'e easily offended by gossip, personal opinion or creative storytelling--this might not be the website for you.

Despite a year long romance, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have only been photographed together a handful of times. While Harry has mostly been lip-locked about their romance, Meghan has given interviews. But what about the times these two lovebirds have been seen together? What does the romance meter register? Well, sometimes these two look lovey dovey and at other times, Harry looks stiff and uncomfortable, even a bit uneasy

And what about the past--did Media Meg look more happy and in love with her exes or even more into her co-stars? Did Harry seem to have more of a genuine fondness for his former flames?

The proof is in the pictures.

Here is a bit of an investigation into Meghan (real name: Rachel) and Harry's dubious body language:

1. Vacation Vibes
While Harry and Meghan are definitely close in Jamaica, their beach time together caught no evidence of hardcore hot and heavy shenanigans. In the past, Harry (pictured with ex Chelsey Davy) has been pretty A-OK with a little public lovefest and beach canoodling as well as heavy duty swimsuit embraces.  Meghan also looks pretty blissed out with her first husband, Trevor Engelson on a honeymoon(?) boat ride.

2. Public Events
Meghan and Harry were seen photographed together in a dark booth for the closing of the Invictus Games. While Harry did plant a few pecks on his future brunette bride, he didn't look particularly jovial or in makeout mode (to be fair, Meghan's mom was nearby).  Meghan on the other hand seems to have lots of chemistry with best bud Markus Anderson who introduced her to Harry.

3. Party People
In Jamaica for a wedding, Meghan and Harry looked odd and awkward together. Meghan looked clingy and Harry looked distant and tired. Harry even did weird things with his hands--almost as if to try block off his personal space from Markle Sparkle (nose touching is a sign he's not that into you). He also showed limited emotion and avoided eye contact.  In the past, Harry seems engaged with his tableside girlfirend, Chelsey Davy. As they left the wedding reception, Harry and Meghan didn't hold hands and looked a tad tense. At one point, Meghan and Harry looked pretty out of sync for a couple who are long distance and see each other infrequently. Fear not, Meg decided some duck-lipping and hair play might draw the prince back in. Past picture examination reveals even more times Harry and Chelsey seemed happy while Meghan and Trevor looked pretty content together too.

4. Walk About Town
While not totally unusual for Prince Harry to lead his girlfriend through the streets of London, with ex Cressida Bonas he made sure to walk side by side to gauge her expressions and be able to hear anything she uttered. Also, their pace and even stride is perfectly matched. While this could be a noble and protective gesture on Harry's part to keep Meg safe, this article claims, "a guy who walks ahead of you is sending off a bad body language cue...research has proven that when a man is interested in someone, he will slow down his pace so that he can walk next to her."

 5. The Makeout Moment
Harry plants a delicate sweet old man kiss on Meghan following his polo tournament in May but with his ex he seemed to concentrate more while fully leaning in and embracing hands. Later, it appears though the two did get more intimate. Meanwhile, Meghan is hot and heavy on-screen with one of her co-stars, per usual.

I don't know what to say, I hope that these photos have been in bad moments, I cheer a lot for the happiness of them.
