Best and Worst Fashion Looks from the People's Choice Awards 2017

Every year the People's Choice Awards represents a time for stars to gather and bask in the adoration and love of their fans. While not always a place to find big star power, this year's 2017 award show brought out big names in fashion, movies and television. A few stars really rocked the red carpet while many others had a #fashionfail.

Here is a roundup of the hottest and lamest looks from the 2017 People's Choice Awards.

Fashion Grade A
Jennifer Lopez
Always one to wow, Jennifer Lopez looked tan, taut and toned when she showed up to the People's Choice Awards in a mermaid black encrusted gown that highlighted her curves and flat stomach. Ever one to create a fashion firestorm, JLo looked striking in this Reem Acra gown that felt slightly Morticia Adams but with a cool, modern twist. An embellished bodice really made this style feel fresh and totally innovative. No question why Jenny from the Block is a megastar.

Fashion Grade C+
Blake Lively
Beloved fashionista Blake Lively really failed this year's People's Choice Awards. Mrs. Reynolds went for a flapper-fringe look in Elie Saab. Part Vegas showgirl, part New Year's Eve attire--this fashion miss was rather suprising for such a designer afficionado. Perhaps still in baby weight losing limbo, this Gossip Girl wanted to hide a few bumps and bits. Plus, messy long hair and lots of junky accessories didn't help the effervescent star's leg-baring mini-dress look any more sophisticated.

Fashion Grade B+
Jamie Chung
Feminine and flirty, this strapless lemon lace Martha Medeiros number totally suits Jamie and her olive skin. Simple understated accessories, nude strappy heels and a pretty Cali chic coif made this look a total standout. The thigh high split and side cutout added style points to this petite star's effortless glam.

Fashion Grade F
The Cast of Fulerl House
If you ever sit back and think you could easily pull off a Hollywood fashion moment  if you had a hair and makeup team not to mention designer clothes to pick from--think again. Even though all four ladies from Fuller House have the money/resources/time for a glam squad--they all prove that money can't buy style. Lori Loughlin decided now was the time to break out her favorite librarian dress and Betsey Johnson heart shoes. Totally underwhelming, unappealing and out of touch, this look screams thrift store granny. Andrea Barber went for a dress that would be a bad look at a 20-year high school reunion--it's PTA mom meets Dillard's clearance rack. Candace Cameron Bure decided to dye her hair a dark-orangey-brown and then whip out a big billowy sleeved dress that is too long and not especially pretty. Finally, Jodie Sweetin thought big roses means big fashion. Also, she decided mohawks were cool again?!? Have mercy ladies!

Fashion Grade B-
Gwen Stefani
Ever one to look slightly like she just stepped out of a Tim Burton movie, Gwen Stefani rocks even the strangest frocks with ease. The pretty blue chiffon Alice and Wonderland skirt and bra set would be a fashion disaster on any other stars but Gwen makes it feel creative and cool. Plus, her amazing body makes any garment look so frickin' hot. Not bad for a 40-something mom of three!

Fashion Grade D
Kristen Bell
I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Jennifer Lopez thought Kristen Bell was a waitress at the after party for the People's Choice Awards. Outfitted in a checkered jumpsuit with weird Kleenex cups--this petite star of The Good Place looked like she was at The Wrong Place. Go back to the 1980s Kristen and find a stylist there! Please!

Fashion Grade B-
Victoria Justice
Nickeloden star and singer Victoria brought her A-game in this wild safari-esque minidress that was heavily embellished. Appearing like a work of art, this tribal beaded sleeveless number put Justice into the fashion major leagues.

Fashion Grade C
Sarah Jessica Parker
We get it already. You're quirky. You're unique. You're a fashion renegade. Still, we can't stand idly by and watch you, SJP, have a constant barrage of fashion missteps. This Roman-Grecian copper strapless gown looks like a costume reject from a Madonna concert from 10 years ago. Even a ballerina bod or a pair of Manolos can't save you from a fashion fiasco. Sorry Mrs. Broderick!
