Women Vs. Men Email Style

Recently, I've observed how men and women communicate very differently in email. Just as in real life, women are more inclined to use sensitive language, to offer kind and encouraging expressions and to be verbose. Men, on the other hand tend to be terse, less flowery with their replies or requests and much more blunt. Here are my hypothetical male vs. female emails:

Example:

Email #1
Male

Could you get this report back to me Susan?

Dave

Hi Susan,

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sending that report back today?

I really appreciate your hard work!

Thanks!
Diane

Lauren,

Could you revise your draft to include more mentions of the strategy and future goals for Company AZ?

Hi Lauren!

I loved your recent draft for Company AZ. I was wondering if you might be able to add a little more information about some of the future goals and proposed strategy for the company? This would be extremely helpful!

I appreciate it.

Thanks!
Diane
